about

Bigfoot and Brush Fires is one of my oldest songs. It’s about missing someone who is temporarily far away. The original version had acoustic guitars and programmed drums.

lyrics

You’ll be arriving in three days soon. I know it’s inevitable. Missing you to death keeps my penmanship alive ... hoping that you’re alive ... that you’ll survive the plane ride home. Leopard blankets keep us warm always, but tonight it’s different. The thoughts we create are one and the same. If you’re conscious, you’re thinking of me. If you’re sleeping, you’re dreaming of what I sing. Dreaming of our lives ... living our dream. Someday, we will breathe that moisture-less air alone.
